Michael D. Harris

Chairman

Mr. Harris is a senior business adviser at Fasken Martineau and acts as a consultant and advisor to several Canadian companies. Prior to joining Fasken Martineau, Mr. Harris was a senior business advisor at Cassels Brock & Blackwell LLP and held the office of the Premier of Ontario from 1995 to 2002.

Mr. Harris also serves on the boards of several public companies including Magna International Inc.(Chairman of the Board, Chairman of the Corporate Governance and Compensation Committee, Chairman of the Nominating Committee), Chartwell Seniors Housing REIT (Chairman of the Board of Trustees and member of the Compensation, Governance and Nominating Committee), Canaccord Financial (Chairman of the Corporate Governance and Compensation Committee), and FirstService Corporation (Member of the Compensation Committee).

Rear Admiral Mark S. Boensel

Chair of Compensation Committee

Admiral Boensel has more than thirty-two years of experience in leading people, managing assets and maximizing the useful value of resources. He led the U.S. Navy's two largest geographic regions; and in doing so, directed and participated in projects and forums for infrastructure sustainment, development, consolidation, anti-terrorism protection, and emergency preparedness at the highest levels within the U.S. Navy.

Admiral Boensel assumed command of Naval Air Station Jacksonville in April 2001. During that tour he was selected for promotion to the rank of Rear Admiral. In July 2004, he returned to Washington, D.C., as the director of the Chief of Naval Operations Environmental Readiness Division (N45). From December 2005 to October 2007, Admiral Boensel served as Commander, Navy Region Southeast. After receiving his second star, he assumed duties as Commander, Navy Region Mid-Atlantic in November 2007. He retired from active duty January 1, 2012.  Admiral Boensel holds post-graduate degrees in Business Administration, International Relations, and National Security and Strategic Studies. Additional achievements include the Navy Distinguished Service Medal, Defense Superior Service Medal, four awards of the Legion of Merit, the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal, two awards of the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, and four awards of the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal. Mark Boensel has accumulated more than 3,200 flight hours and more than 600 carrier arrested landings.

Tony Busseri

Chief Executive Officer

Tony Busseri leads the management team in executing Route1’s strategic vision. Mr. Busseri is an entrepreneurial executive with a track record of producing results and shareholder value. He is committed to delivering Route1 solutions to customers and advancing excellence in the organization.

Mr. Busseri brings his background as a principal of Growth Equity Partners, a full service business advisory firm focused on supporting small to medium-sized private and publicly listed companies execute transformational business initiatives. Previously, Mr. Busseri served as a member of the board of directors, president and chief executive officer of EnGlobe Corp. from 2004 to 2008, and chairman of the board of directors, president and chief executive officer of Waste Services Inc. from 1997 to 2000. Mr. Busseri is a graduate of the honours business administration program at the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.

Peter Chodos

Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

As Route1's Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Peter Chodos is responsible for the accounting and financial management of Route1. His responsibilities include corporate development, investor relations, regulatory reporting, management reporting, internal control and tax compliance.  On August 29, 2016 Peter became Route1’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

Peter has been an independent member of Route1’s Board of Directors since September 2009, serving most recently as the Company’s Chair of the Compensation Committee and as a member of the Company’s Audit Committee.  He has over 35 years of experience in the capital markets including private and public financings of debt and equity as well as mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures in Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom.  Peter was one of the founders of Lawrence Asset Management Inc. in late 2001 and left the firm in 2004 to co-found Mt. Auburn Capital Corp., where he engaged in structuring and distributing investment products for retail investors. He received his Masters of Business Administration degree from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University. Mr. Chodos is a Chartered Professional Accountant and a Chartered Business Valuator.

Louis De Jong

Mr. De Jong recently founded and is the Managing Partner of De Jong & Co., a boutique merchant bank engaged in principal investment and financial advisory services. Prior to that, in 2004 he had co-founded and was Managing Director of Jemekk Capital Management Inc., a hedge fund manager on behalf of high net worth and institutional clients focused on small and medium capitalized Canadian companies.

From 1998 to 2004 Mr. De Jong was employed by Credit Suisse First Boston where he most recently served as Director and Head of Canadian Equities. Mr. De Jong began his career in the investment business at Sprott Securities Inc. in institutional equity sales.

Michael F. Doolan

Chair of Audit Committee

Michael F. Doolan was appointed Executive Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Neo Materials Inc. on September 1, 2005. Mr. Doolan was previously Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Falconbridge Limited of Toronto since 2002 prior to its merger with Noranda Inc.

Mr. Doolan has over 25 years experience in all aspects of financial management with specific expertise in international mergers and acquisitions, offshore financing structures and international treasury management acquired in a Canadian-based multinational environment.

Major-General (Retired) David Fraser, CMM, MSC, MSM, CD, MA, BA

David Fraser is a dynamic accomplished leader and innovator with over 30 years experience in the Canadian Forces. He led Canadian and multinational organizations throughout his career. Highly accomplished with starting up new organizations and a proven leader who delivers results, he has been highly decorated including with the Vimy Award for contributions to peace and security, the Atlantic Council for leadership, awards from the United States, the Netherlands, Poland and NATO.

An outstanding operator, he has lead the Canadian Forces College and commanded all army training and doctrine. David Fraser is an accomplished communicator who values people. He is now the Chief Operating Officer for Blue Goose Capital Corporation the largest vertically integrated Canadian Organic Cattle company. His drive and objective oriented manner has been reflected in his success.

John Marino

John Marino is the principal of Marino Consulting, a Washington, DC strategic consulting firm with a client portfolio of domestic and international companies spanning across diverse industries. He brings more than 15 years of progressive experience in public relations, business development, and international affairs. This includes serving in leadership roles at public affairs firms and non-governmental organizations in the nation’s capital.

Marino Consulting has represented technology, cyber security, transportation, and manufacturing companies, nonprofits & NGOs, trade associations, and higher education institutions. The firm delivers government relations, communications, market access, issue management, and brand enhancement capabilities that navigate the private and public sectors and position its clients for favorable outcomes.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Marino served as the national executive director of the National Italian American Foundation (NIAF), the foremost organization advancing US-Italy relations in the areas of politics, business, education and culture. He worked closely with the bipartisan Italian American Congressional Delegation and other governmental leaders and directed the organization’s thought leadership programs.

Mr. Marino received a Bachelor of Arts from Clemson University in South Carolina, a Master of Arts from Fordham University in New York City, and pursued professional training at Georgetown University’s Government Affairs Institute in Washington, DC.
